"Sulphur Grove Village" was established in 1810 in Wayne Township as part of Montgomery County. The first settlement was Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church, which still stands today.
The quilt shop, built in the 1950's, was originally a diner which served meals to men working on the construction of Interstate 70.
Some of you may have seen Lenny, our cat, when you have visited the shop. He no longer lives at the shop and is at home enjoying his retirement.
He spends his days watching the birds, sleeping, eating, laying in the sun, sleeping, eating..
You might also notice him in the shop's TV commercial on PBS during the Saturday morning sewing shows.
